Welcome to Gwrach Ynys Country Guest House near Harlech Snowdonia
Gwrach Ynys is an Edwardian Country House, originally built as a gentleman's residence at the turn of the previous century by a local farmer. The house was adapted twenty years ago, to a very high standard, to meet the aspirations of today's discerning guests while retaining all of it many original features. This process of improvement and refurbishment has been ongoing ever since.
Gwynfor and Deborah are born and raised in the area, are native Welsh speakers, and are always on hand to help you make the most of your time with us. We have been running Gwrach Ynys as a guesthouse for the past 20 years, and have had the pleasure of welcoming guests from all over the globe into our home.
We have two comfortable lounges for guests to relax and unwind, and a separate dining room where Deborah will serve her choice of breakfasts to set you up for the day, whether your aim is to relax or spend a more energetic day on the mountains.
NO SMOKING
For the comfort of all our guests, the house is non smoking, but guests who enjoy the odd puff are welcome to do so in the garden
